The winner of Huddersfield SOUP № 5 is...

Weave: Huddersfield

Our fifth Huddersfield SOUP may have landed on one of the first warm and sunny days of spring 2018, but that didn’t put off 70 people from coming along to hear about four Huddersfield ideas. Following the pitches and soup from Zephyr Bar and Kitchen (Pea & Ham and Sweet Potato & Carrot!) the winner was announced…

Nicola Twynham won the most votes for her project Weave: Huddersfield. The project aims to bring the town together in celebration of its heritage by capturing residents relationship to local industry and textile art in Huddersfield. The project hopes to culminate in a festival across the town highlighting the rich textile heritage and how this is still impacting Huddersfield’s identity today. Nicola took home the micro-grant of £383.62

Congratulations to Nicola and well done to our other three pitches this evening.
